Stomach problems are common in horses. Primarily in sport horses, but also in recreational horses, broodmares, and even young foals. Gastric complications arise when the gastric mucosa is damaged by overly acidic stomach contents, leading to gastritis or stomach ulcers.
Horses with gastric complications often experience the following symptoms: decreased appetite, reduced performance, poor coat, teeth grinding, or weight loss.

Gastro-Care+ neutralizes excess stomach acid on the one hand, and on the other hand, protects the gastric mucosa from irritation. Thanks to the addition of glutamine and sodium bicarbonate, Gastro-Care+ supports the recovery of damaged mucosa. Matricaria recutita and magnesium have a soothing effect on the gastric and intestinal mucosa, which alleviates uncomfortable abdominal sensations. Thus, Gastro-Care+ contributes to the support and protection of the gastric mucosa.
